Description
This black and white postcard features a street lined with trees and utility poles. A large two story house with tall white columns and a second floor balcony is on the left side of the street. White fencing runs in front of the house and down the side of the street. People are walking along the sidewalk and there are horse drawn wagons on the far end of the street. The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information as well as indication for correspondence and address placement. A green one cent postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked Ocean Springs, Mississippi, February 4, 1909. "Residence of H. F. Russell, Ocean Springs, Miss." is along the left edge of the card, identifying the house on the front of the card. The card is inscribed and is addressed to Miss Minnie Krueger in Chicago, Illinois.
