Description
This black and white postcard features a line of men in hats seated in front of a pile of oysters. Buildings and more piles of oysters are behind them. The title along the bottom of the image reads "Opening Oysters, Biloxi, Miss." And inscription is handwritten along the bottom edge of the card and "Write soon." is written in the upper left corner. The back of the postcard provides publisher information as well as indication for address and postage stamp placement. The postage stamp has been removed and the space for it is damaged. The card is postmarked Ocean Springs, Mississippi, November 30, 1908. The card is addressed to Mr. Peter Christenson in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
