Description
This black and white postcard features a view of a street parade of early twentieth century cars with buildings and utility poles on either side. An inscription on the right edge identifies the parade as a 4th of July street parade in Bay St. Louis. The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides indication for correspondence and address placement. A green one cent postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, February 28, 1913. The card is inscribed in a shorthand and is addressed to Miss M. Brown in Chicago, Illinois.
