Description

This postcard features a color illustration of the Confederate Inn at the Colonial Cottages in Gulfport, Mississippi. The Confederate Inn is a glass fronted restaurant with a large red sign across the front that bears it's name and advertises seafood, steaks, chicken and Lounge. Trees and other buildings are seen behind the restaurant and a flagpole with five different flags, including the U. S. flag, the Confederate flag, the British flag and two unidentified flags stands near the street in front of the restaurant. The title of the card is the logo of the restaurant and cottages and includes a Confederate flag at the top. The back of the card includes a brief paragraph advertising the food and atmosphere of the Confederate Inn.
