Description

This black and white postcard features a large white house with a wrap around porch and a cupola on the roof . Trees are around the house and the house sits on the waterfront and is reflected on the water. The title along the top reads "Old Home of Gen. Andrew Jackson, Waveland." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information as well as indication for correspondence and address placement. A green one cent postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, October 8, 1907. The card is inscribed and is addressed to Miss Edna Griffin in Portland, Maine.
