This color postcard features Pine Hills Hotel as seen from the water of the bay. The title along the bottom of the card reads "Pine Hills Hotel on the Bay, Harrison County, Miss." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard. A red two cent postage stamp is in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked Jackson, Mississippi, July 27, 1927. The description in the upper left corner reads "Pine Hills Hotel on the Bay, Harrison County, Miss. This hotel is located at Shell-Beach-on-the-Bay, near Pass Christian, Mississippi. It has 250 rooms and cost three quarters of a million dollars. Not the least of its many attractions is the finest golf course in the South where the game may be played winter and summer under ideal conditions." The card is inscribed and is addressed to Miss Georgia Penwood in Dowagiac, Michigan.

Georgia, How was your vacation? Hope it was as fine as mine for this is the best one I have had. This hotel is where you and Horace should spend your honeymoon. The rates are $15 per day and up mostly up. This is a beautiful country along the coast and I would like to live here. Walt
