This color advertisement postcard features the view of the pool and the backside of the Driftwood Motel. A large arrow sign to the right advertises the motel as having free TV, pool, and telephone, and announces that "your BankAmeriCard welcome here." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information. A six cent postage stamp of the United States flag is in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked Slidell, Louisiana, Jun 29, 1971. The description in the upper left reads "Driftwood Motel Bay St. Louis, Mississippi 39520, Rt. 1, U.S. Highway 90, West Phone (601) 467-5488, Free Pool Facilities Free T. V. Totally airconditioned-Wall-to-Wall-Carpet-Free local phone-Full tile baths-Between New Orleans and Biloxi, at the Beginning of the Beautiful Mississippi Gulf Coast". The card is inscribed and is addressed to Mr. and Mrs. J. Ostrom in Largo Florida.

Hi--Spent last night at one of our favorite spots, Jones Motel in Perry. Have gone there for years and years. We had to stop here tonight, was disappointed as we would like to of made Hammond La--but getting late. We do have our favorites where motels are [?]. We'll invite. Love Etta [sic]
