Description

This color postcard features the coastal road, Beach Boulevard, with water and piers on one side and homes and trees on the other. The title of the card reads "Beach Drive, Looking North, Waveland, Miss." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information as well as indication for correspondence and address placement. The postcard is postmarked Bay St. Louis, Miss., July 8, 1939. The postage stamp has been removed. The card is inscribed. Addressed to Mrs. Dominica in New Orleans, LA.

Having a general rest up here. Swimming and everything that makes vacation grand and glorious. Give my regards to those interested in me. Always, Mae P.S. This card says Waveland but I'm really in Bay St. Louis. P.S. How is the German?
