This black and white postcard features a line of palm trees in the median between two sides of a street. Cars are seen parked on either side and buildings can be seen on the right. The title along the bottom of the postcard reads "Tropical Palms--Gulfport, Miss." The back of the postcard featuring a line of palm trees in a median identifies the item as a postcard and provides indication for correspondence placement. A green one cent postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked Gulfport, Mississippi, April 14, 1938. The card is inscribed and is addressed to Miss Catherine Stirewalt in Salisbury, North Carolina.
April 14 Thanks for the letter. E and I are spending the annual vacation here. Stopped overnight in Memphis, Vicksburg, and New Orleans. Hope you will be returning to N. York soon. Stella and Elmer
