This black and white postcard features a house on enclosed pillars with a long wrap-around front porch. The porch has thick white posts and white railing with a long set of stairs/steps leading up to it. Several people are standing on the porch and sitting on the stairs/steps. A tree is standing in front of the house and other trees are to the sides. The title along the bottom of the card reads "Soldiers Home, (Formerly Residence of Jefferson Davis), Beauvoir, Near Biloxi, Miss."
