Description

This black and white postcard features a group of people on a covered canoe with a flag on each end and a man standing on stern of the canoe. The canoe is out on the water and trees are behind it. The title, "Scene on Rotten Bayou near Pass Christian, Miss." is along the top of the card. A handwritten inscription is in the top and bottom right corners of the card. The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information as well as indication for address placement. A green one cent postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked Pass Christian, Mississippi, February 2, 1907. The card is addressed to Mrs. Thomas McGuire in Louisville, Kentucky.
