Description

This color postcard features the Benachi Avenue Oaks in Biloxi. The scene includes a paved road flanked by green leaved oaks that form a canopy over the road and white houses can be seen on either side of the oaks. The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information as well as indication for correspondence and address placement. The card has a green one cent stamp in the upper right corner and is postmarked Biloxi, Mississippi, Dec. 21, 1911. The card is inscribed and is addressed to Miss Alice Barratt in Webster Grove, Miss. St. Louis County.
