This black and white postcard features two men in a small boat out on the water. One is holding a fishing pole while the other is pulling in the fish that they caught. Both men are wearing hats. The title in the upper left reads "Landing a Tarpon, Pass Christian, Miss." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides correspondence and address placement. A green one cent postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked Pass Christian, Mississippi, February 23, 1912. The card is inscribed and is addressed to Mr. Lane Siebenthal in Bloomington, Indiana.
Dear Boys:- We have not heard a word from any of you office boys nor a paper. Have inquired everyplace. Pop hears from Chas regularly. We are all well and having grand trip going fishing today in big sailboat with the fellow holding pole in this picture. Pete [sic]
