This color postcard features a view of the Gulf waters with flowers and a large Spanish moss hung tree in the foreground and a bridge in the distance. The title in the upper left reads "The Beautiful Mississippi Gulf Coast. Harrison County Bridge in Distance--45". The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information. A green one cent postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked Biloxi, Mississippi, November 15, 1941. The description in the upper left reads "Scenic beauty abounds along the Mississippi Gulf Coast between Biloxi and Gulfport. This is one of the many free toll bridges in Harrison County. The moss covered trees on either side create a beautiful background view of Mississippi." The card is inscribed and is addressed to Miss M. Pohlman in Little Falls, New Jersey.
