Description

This color postcard features a view of a street and storefronts as seen from behind a fence and between some flowering trees. People can be seen walking into the stores. The title along the top of the card reads "Looking up 27th Avenue, Gulfport, Miss." A partially illegible inscription is written above the title. The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard. A green one cent postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked Gulfport, September 15, 1908. The card is inscribed and is addressed to Miss Mande Ellis in New Orleans, Louisiana.
