Description

This color picture postcard features an aerial view of the Mississippi coastline with blue water on the left, the beach in the center, and trees and buildings on the right. The word "Waveland" appears in the lower left and the word "Mississippi" appears in the lower right. The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information as well as indication for postage stamp and address placement. The description in the upper left reads "Waveland, Mississippi The western tip of the 26 miles of white sand beach. This is the nearest part of the Mississippi Gulf Coast to New Orleans, La. Many of the Crescent City people live in this area."
