This postcard features a black and white image of two women playing golf at the Edgewater Gulf Hotel's new 18-hole mashie course in Biloxi, Mississippi. The woman on the left is standing in position to swing her golf club and the women on the right is partially seated on a stool. other people can be seen on the course in the distance. Pine trees "frame" the image. The title of the card is printed on the lower right corner of the image. The back of the card is addressed to Bess Brooks in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The card is postmarked Biloxi, Miss., February 19, 1929 and a green, one cent Benjamin Franklin postage stamp is placed in the upper right. An inscription is written on the left half of the card below the advertisement text for the Edgewater Gulf Hotel. [see transcription]
