The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information as well as indication for postage stamp placement. The description in the upper left reads "Pirate House, Waveland, Mississippi Built in 1803. Showing the registered Shetland Pony, 'The Lister's Topper Buccaneer.' Owned by Mr. and Mrs. B. H. Lister."
