This postcard features a black and white image of Thirteenth Street neat the beach in Gulfport, Mississippi. Buildings, utility poles and sidewalks are seen on either side of the street and a streetcar is pictured on the tracks of the street. The title of the card is printed along the top of the image. The back of the card is addressed to Miss Maude Ellis in Enterprise, Mississippi. The card is postmarked Gulfport, Miss., October 9, 1907 and a green, one cent Benjamin Franklin postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner. An inscription is written on the left half of the card. [see transcription field]
Dear Maude your [?] and card was received and was highly appreciated. Say Maude. T. H. is in Meridian now if you see him soon tell him I am still lookng for him and am answering his letter tonight. Answer real soon and a long letter to your old chum Loretta. All send you their love. [sic]
