Description

This postcard features a color image of the dining room of the Holiday Inn's Red Coals restaurant. The dining room has maroon or burgundy carpet and one section of walls painted red or maroon. The square tables are covered in white table cloths and the wall on the right is covered in beige drapery. A wide chandelier with black lampshades over the fixtures hangs from the ceiling on the left. The logo for the Holiday Inn is in the center on the right edge of the card between "Holiday Inn Greenwood, Mississippi" on the bottom and "Enjoy sizzling steaks form the open-hearth broiler." on the top. The back of the card advertises the restaurant in a brief paragraph in the upper left corner that reads "Holiday Inn, Greenwood, Mississippi, U. S. Hiwys. 82 and 49 East, By-Pass 1900 Strong Avenue; See your favorite steak cooked to perfection at the lovely Red Coals Restaurant of Holiday Inn. [phone number]" The catchphrase, "Your Host From Coast to Coast" is printed at the bottom left of the card.
