Description

This souvenir mailing card set of Yazoo City, Mississippi has a black and white images of Main Street Looking South on the cover and includes 12 smaller black and white images inside. The images inside include Brown's Drug store, a three story building; Broadway looking east with the county courthouse on the left; Crain-Hinman Hardware Co., a three story building with the store sign across the front windows; Yazoo Grocery Co, a two story brick building with arched doors; a Yazoo River scene with views of a boat and buildings; Summerfields, a two story department store building; Delta Bank and Trust Col, John Lear, Press, a building with a gabled roof and a wide arched molding across the front facade; Yazoo Furniture Co., a two story brick storefront building with dentil molding and signs lettered on the windows; T. A. Mauch the live Jeweler building, a three story brick building with awnings over the two storefront windows and "T. A. Mauch" lettered over the left awning; The Halder Hotel, a three story building with balconies on all three floors; The Elk's Home, a two story building with dentil molding along the roof line; and the bridge crossing Yazoo River at Yazoo City.
