Description
This postcard features the First Methodist Church on Main Street in Water Valley, Mississippi. The church is three stories with two towers that bear steep spheres. The windows and doorways are arched and the center window contains stained glass designs. the title of the card is printed beneath the image and an inscription is written upside down below the title. "Mitt 1908" is written above the image. The back of the card is addressed to Miss Ivy Williamson in Windsor, Missouri. The card is postmarked Scobey, Mississippi, November 25, 1908 and a green, one cent Benjamin Franklin postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner. An inscription is written on the left half of the card. [see transcription field]

[on the back] Mu dear Tinnie I am writing let you know I am still living. We use quite lovely that winter. Soke is teaching near Watervally too far off to come home only and [?] very good to school he has just [?] a $16 wash as prize for the best corn exhibit at the county fair over [on the front] Conyden was at home [?] hour or two today he has been right sick if you know Luckys address please write it to me Love to all Mitt No. 24 [sic]
