This postcard features a color illustration of the Oktibbeha County Courthouse in Starkville, Mississippi, a two story, red brick building with a dome shaped clock tower and a gabled roof. Four, two story, white columns flank the entrance and aside entrance on the left of the building has a one story column on each side of the door.. A small fence encloses the courthouse and a hook style lamp post is in front of the courthouse. The title of the card is printed in the upper left of the image and pink and green florals on a yellow background are illustrated on each end of the card. The back of the card is addressed to Mrs. William Folnoble in Newport, New York. A brief inscription on the upper left of the card reads "Very warm here 94 in the shade" [sic] and "Charles M." is signed at the bottom center of the card. The card is postmarked Starkville, Miss., May 31 and a red, two cent George Washington postage stamp is placed in the upper right.
