Description

This black and white postcard features a street with buildings on either side. The ink from the postmark on the back has bled through on the right. "S. R." is written in the top center. The title on the top right reads "15703--Fifth Street looking West, Meridian, Miss." An inscription is handwritten in the white space on the right edge of the card beneath the title. The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides indication for address placement. A green one cent postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked Meridian, Mississippi, August 17, 1908. The card is addressed to Mrs. J. T. Price in Ironston, Alabama.
