Description

This color postcard features three images of three buildings on the Meridian Woman's College Campus. The top left image features the Administration Building that is touted by a title on the left edge as "The Largest Private College in the South." and a title in the upper right of the image reads "Safe Home for Girls." The top right image features the Club Home, a white three story building with a pitched roof and a dormer in the center. The bottom center image features Conservatory of Music, Meridian, Miss., a three story Spanish style building with ornate curves along the roofline. A title beneath the image touts the building as "The Largest Conservatory of Music in the South" and urges to "Write for Catalog." And inscription is handwritten along the top, the left edge, and surrounding the bottom image. The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information as well as indication for correspondence and address placement. A green one cent postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked Meridian, Mississippi, March 2, 1908. The card is inscribed and is addressed to Mr. C Dugan in Yellow Pine Louisiana.

[front of the postcard] Keep on the summer ride of life. It will help you every day. Ref. I. Tim 4:8 these fine colleges. Dr. Stanley a good man from Japan has just gone home from here after giving us three splendid lectures on different countries across the waters. From one who has not forgotten you yet. Ans. A. F. [back of the postcard] Well, I guess you think I have forgotten you but I have not. How is old Y. P.? Fine, I hope. School is real good here and I am so glad I can be in such a school. Wish every girl and boy in the land could attend.
