Description
This is the cover of a set of 12 souvenir postal mailing cards featuring various images from Jackson, Mississippi printed in 1905 by the Rotograph Company of New York City in Germany. The set includes a back cover to post and an image of the State Capitol of Mississippi on the front cover with an opening which opens up revealing a foldout of 12 images of early Jackson, Mississippi. The copyright and patent information is printed along the bottom edge of this cover and the title of the image is printed along the top right. A latch to keep the opening closed is visible on the right side of the image. The cover image features a black and white photograph of the state Capitol building in Jackon, Mississippi, a large four story building with a tall dome in the center.
