Description

This postcard features a black and white image of the entrance to the University of Mississippi campus, a dirt road with pillars on either side connected by an iron arch with U. M. in the center, a sidewalk runs alongside the right side of the road and trees and bushes are on either side of the road. The title of the card is printed in the top center of the image. The back of the card is addressed to Mr. John Lynch in New York City. The card is postmarked Oxford, Miss., June 27, 1910 and a green, one cent Benjamin Franklin postage stamp is placed upside down in the upper right corner of the card. "Nice place here 800 students Jacks" is written sideways on the left side of the card.
