Description

This postcard features a color illustration of a bird's eye view of Rust College, in Holly Springs, Mississippi. A red, four story building with a tower on the left is in the center of view and other buildings, trees, sidewalks, and streets are visible. Rust College is a historically black liberal arts college in Holly Springs, Mississippi. Founded in 1866, it is the second-oldest private college in Mississippi. Associated with the United Methodist Church, it is one of only ten historically black colleges and universities founded before 1868 that is still operating. The title of the card is printed in the upper left edge of the image.
