Description

This black and white picture postcard features a view of the Aberdeen City Hall. The building is two stories with white columns at the front entrance and arche windows on the top floor. The sign for City Hall is just below the roofline on the front of the building. A confederate monument stands in the section across the street from the building. Cars are parked on the street and street lamps are placed along the front sidewalk. The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides indication for correspondence and address placement. A red two cent postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked Prairie, Mississippi, July 7, 1939. The card is inscribed and is addressed to Miss Hellen Marsin.
