Description
This black and white postcard features a busy street showing store fronts and horse and wagons. The storefront on the right forefront has a sign for King Hardware and Lumber. The title along the bottom reads "Street Scene in New Albany, Miss." The photographer is listed in the lower left corner of the image. The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides indication for correspondence and address placement. A green one cent postage stamp placed in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked New Albany, Mississippi, January 24, 1910. The card is inscribed and is addressed to Miss Nettie Bauermann in Elkhorn, Wisconsin.

New Albany, Miss. Jan. 24, 1910 Dear Niece:--Your card Recd. Glad to hear from you. I note what you say that you didn't Receive my xmas postal it was like the one I sent Edith Gates. No I didn't Receive your N. Y. card either so we were served alike. We Recd word of a new boy in he family. glad you are all well we are fine and dandy Summer here. Love to all lots to yourself from Aunt Mary [sic]
