Description
This sepia toned postcard features the three story buildings at the corner of two streets. The building at the right forefront features ornate moldings at the roof and front elevation and a sign to the right of the building identifies it as Abe Rubel and Co. The buildings further down the street are less ornate but equally tall. utility poles are spaced along the right side of the streets and a powerline pole is prominent in the left foreground of the image. The title along the bottom of the card describes the image as "A Prominent Business Corner, Corinth. Cruse and Filmore Streets." The photographer and the printer are listed in each bottom corner, respectively. Illegible initials are handwritten along the right edge of the card. The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides indication for address placement. A green one cent stamp is place in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked twice. The first postmark is for Corinth, Mississippi, March 26, 1906 and the second postmark is for Iowa, March [?] 1906. The card is addressed to Mrs. H. H. Smith in Olds, Iowa.
