Description

This postcard features a black and white image of the Tupelo Confederate Soldiers Monument in front of a large three story building. The title is printed at the bottom of the image and an inscription is written in the white portion to the right of the image. The inscription reads "Miss Ruby L. Hinberger Tupelo, Miss. Welcome Guest Cousin. Write." The back of the card is addressed to Carl C. Kuhn, Cashtown, Pennsylvania. The card bears two postmarks: Tupelo, Miss. 1906 and Baltimore, Maryland, Nov. 3, 1906. A green, one cent Benjamin Franklin postage stamp is placed sideways in the upper right corner of the card.
