Description
This postcard features a black and white image of Main Street in Okolona, Mississippi. A line of two story buildings and electric power poles line the left side of the street. People can be seen on the sidewalk and along the street. The title of the card is beneath the bottom left edge of the image and an inscription is handwritten below the title. The inscription reads "Feb. 6th 07 How are you Mother? Shall write you and Mary a long letter after Jennie Leaves. Maggie." The back of the postcard is addressed to Mrs. Margaret McNabb in Collingwood, Ontario, Canada. The card is postmarked twice: Okolona, Miss. February 7, 1907 and Collingwood, Ontario, Feb. 11, 1907. A green, one cent Benjamin Franklin postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner of the card.
