Description
This postcard features a black and white image of the three story Sawilmon Hotel in Pontotoc. The building has a large window on the left and the entrance on the right has an arched molding. "First National Bank" is on a sign at the very top of the building, along the roofline. People are standing on the sidewalk in front of the building. The title of the card is printed along the top of the image. The back of the postcard is addressed to Miss Netha Hardeman in Herderson, Tennessee. The card is postmarked Pontotoc, Miss., August 25, 1911. An inscription is written sideways on the left half of the card. [see transcription field]

Hello! How are you by now? Your card was such a glad surprise. I am just fine. WE are having hot weather down here. Walked to town this morn and sure felt the heat. Vera This pen is fierce.
