Description
This postcard features a color illustration of the Tupelo public schools in Tupelo, Mississippi. The two buildings depicted are three story, red brick, with arched doorways. The building on the left is a rectangular shape and the building on the right is more of a Gothic style structure. Children are depicted on the lawn in front of the school buildings among trees and benches. The title of the card is printed along the bottom left edge of the card. The back of the postcard is addressed to Mrs. Gussie Silton, Ft. Worth, Texas. The card is postmarked Tupelo, Miss., July 25, 1932 and the remnants of a green postage stamp are on the top right corner. An inscription is written on the left half of the card. Went to Hale Center Friday and had to go home Sunday night. Didn't have time to go to Leonard. Got here O. K. Olen
