Description

This color postcard features a group of buildings across from trees and a gazebo in what appears to be a park. The title in the upper right describes the image as the "Business Section, Iuka, Mississippi." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information. A green one cent postage stamp is placed sideways in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked Iuka, Mississippi, November 6, 1948. The card is inscribed and is addressed to Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Rogers in Nashville, Tennessee.

Dear Mama and Papa We are having a nice time. This is a pretty little place and Mymia and Gran have a lovely home and are so nice. We eat so much I am afraid I'll get fat. See you soon. Lots of love, Virginia
