Description

This postcard features seven black and white images of various places in Burnsville, Mississippi. The images on the left side are as follows; Christian Church, a white church with arched windows and a tower, W.D. Brook's Residence, a one story house with a long front porch and several trees in front; T. L. Hill's Residence, a two story house with a short front porch. The image in the center is of Montgomery Park, a thick grove of trees with people seated beneath them. The images on the right edge are of the Baptist Church, a white building with arched windows and a tower on the left; J. H. Nixon's Residence, a small white house with a long front porch and a white picket fence in front; R. L. Smith's Residence, a two story house with a long front porch with chimneys on each end of the house. "HAAG Sep 21" is written in blue ink along the bottom. The back of the card includes the following inscription on the left half of the card, "Hagg show Sep 21 down walk in Boon went home. Bill went to Shreveport we came on train D. Drave Team
