Description
This black and white picture postcard features a six story building on a street corner with other buildings flanking it on either side. A sign reading "Hays and Field" is on the right side of the roof. Utility poles are visible in the forefront of the photo. There is an inscription to the right of the photo. The title along the bottom of the card reads "Carter Building, Cor. Front & Main Sts. Hattiesburg, Miss." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information and indication for message and address placement. A green one cent postage stamp is placed sideways in the upper right corner and the card is postmaked twice. Once for Hattiesburge, Mississippi, November 1907 and once for Vermontville, Michigan, November 1907. The card is addressed to Miss Elsie Pickle in Vermontville, Michigan.
