Description

This color postcard features a street with buildings on either side. Early twentieth century cars are seen parked on the street and people are seen walking. The buildings on the right include signs for the theater, drugs, and the Yellow Pine Myers Co. The title along the top of the card reads "Mobile Street and Hotel Hattiesburg, Hattiesburg, Miss." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a post card and provides indication for correspondence and address placement. A green one cent postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked Hattiesburg, Mississippi, June 16, 1909. The card is inscribed and is addressed to C. W. Watts in Hoffman, Illinois.
