Description
This color postcard features a large three story red brick building with four white columns across the front entrance. A white concrete circular fountain is in the center of a sidewalk that leads to the building. The sidewalk is lined by trees and bushes. The title along the top reads "Administrative Building. Mississippi Woman's College, Hattiesburg, Miss." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information as well as indication for correspondence and address placement. A green one cent postage stamp is placed crooked in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked Poplarville, Mississippi, August 7, 1906. The card is inscribed and is addressed to Misses Evelyn and Freda Pahn in Pascagoula, Mississippi.

Dear Evelyn and [?] Just here in H.Burg waiting for a bus--thinking of folks back home. Spent a few hours with Alma and the Boy saw Bill at Dinner time. The baby is just darling and such a good baby. They were surprised to see me. I've had such a nice time since I left home. Am goin to see grandma tomorrow. Love Ethel [sic]
