This black and white picture postcard features a wagon loaded with six massive yellow pine trees and pulled by ten oxen, through a Long Leaf pine stand. Men are standing behind the oxen and trees surround them. The title beneath the image reads "8 Wheel Wagon, made by Hattiesburg 8 Wheel Wagon Co., Hattiesburg, Miss." The photographer is named in the lower right corner. A transcription is handwritten along the bottom of the card. The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides photographer information as well as indication for address placement. A red two cent postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked Hattiesburg, Mississippi, October 31, 1907. The card is addressed to Mr. Wen Koehler in Council Bluffs, Iowa, c/o Peterson Showing Co.
