Description

This black and white picture postcard features a railroad bridge over a body of water. Trees are seen on the bank behind the bridge. An inscription is written across the image of the card. The title along the bottom of the card reads "N. O. & N. E. Railroad Bridge Across Leaf River, Hattiesburg, Miss." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides the publisher and photographer information as well as indication for address placement. A green one cent postage stamp is placed upside down in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked Hattiesburg, Mississippi, June 29, 1906. "Post Card" is written in pencil above the card's printed "Post Card." The card is addressed to Miss Pearl McDevitt in Hattiesburg, Mississippi."
