This postcard features a color illustration of a building on the South Mississippi College campus in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. The building is two and a half stories with a third story in the center of the building and a cupola is in the center of the roof. Two trees are depicted I front of the building. The title of the card is printed in the upper right corner and an inscription is written on the upper left corner. The back of the card is addressed to Mrs. Fred Jaynes in Nicholson, Pennsylvania. The card is postmarked Hattiesburg, Miss., September 29, 1909 and a green, one cent Benjamin Franklin postage stamp is in the upper right corner. An inscription is written sideways on the left half of the card. [see transcription field]
Isn't this 'cute' If you all are in need of any Instituition of learning in that part of the country I'll ship this to you C. O. D. in a shoe box. [sic]
