Description

This postcard features a black and white image of a crowd of people crowded around a black and white ox. The crowd is standing in front of the Williamsburg Drug Co., a white building with an arched sign for the store on the roof and a covered porch. The title of the image is printed along the bottom edge of the card. "Collins, Miss." is written on the building sign. An inscription is written along the left, top, and right edges of the card. The back is addressed to Master Charles Armistead in Sylvester, Texas. The card is postmarked Collins, Miss., June 26, 1910 and Sylvester, Texas, Jun 29. The stamp has been removed.

Transcription

[starting from the right side going counter clockwise] Jun 26: Tell Mama to write and tell us how Dada is. We are so anxious to here. Is Dr N there yet? When dad gets well you and Mama must come but you must not leave him not well. For you wont enjoy being here if he is sick. Love to all. Nanie [sic]
