Description
This black and white postcard features a view of buildings on a street where horsedrawn carriages are parked. A sign for Hattiesburg Hardware is visible on a building to the right. The title at the top reads "4290 Main St., Looking East, Hattiesburg, Miss." An inscription is writeen below the title and a second inscription is written along the right edge of the card. Copyright information is in the lower left corner. The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard/carte postale/postal card and provides publisher information as well as indication for address placement. A green one cent postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner of the card and the postmark for Hattiesburg, Mississippi is partially obscured. A blue ink stamp in the upper left corner declares "Post Card Union Of America Registered Member". The card is inscribed and is addressed to S. Jaeger in Vicksburg, Mississippi.
