Description
This postcard features a black and white image of a team of eight oxen hitched to a wagon that has been loaded with logs in the middle of a logging yard. A logging shed it seen to the left and men are standing on and among the logs that are piled throughout the yard. The title of the card is printed along the bottom edge of the image and the word "logging" is misspelled "logging". An inscription is written beneath the title. The back of the card is addressed to Miss A. A. Burkin in New Orleans, Louisiana. The card is postmarked three times, Hattiesburg, Mississippi, August 31, 1906 once and New Orleans, Louisiana, September 1, 1906 twice. A green, one cent Benjamin Franklin postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner with the edge of a red postage stamp showing on the left edge.
