This postcard features a color illustration of the First Presbyterian Church in Brookhaven, Mississippi, a two story Gothic style church with arched windows and arched details at the entrance. Each corner of the church resembles a tower with steep pitches. The title of the card is printed in the upper left of the image. The photographer and publisher are identified in red on the right edge of the image. The back of the card is addressed to Mrs. Robert Dunlap in Clarksville, Arkansas. The card is postmarked Brookhaven, Mississippi, June 3, 1909 and a green, one cent Benjamin Franklin postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner. An inscription is written sideways on the left half of the card. [see transcriptions field]

Transcription

Dear Mrs. Dunlap, We certainly have not forgotten how nice you and Mr. Dunlap were to us while there and we appreciated your kindness so much. We are home again and we extend a cordial invitation to come down [and] let us show you our little city. Regards to all. S. J and W. J. Bee [sic]
