Description
An image of a two story house with a porch, a second story balcony, and bay windows on the right side is pictured on this black and white postcard. The title of the postcard is printed along the bottom of the card and a postmark for West Point, Mississippi, June 11, 1908 is stamped over the roof of the house in the image. The back of the postcard includes an inscription addressed to Vera Dickens in West Point, Mississippi. A postmark for Corinth, Mississippi, June 10, 1908 is beside the green, one cent Benjamin Franklin postage stamp.
Transcription
Wednesday morn-- My dear Vera-- I hope to see you at the station Monday ready to go to the A [and] M. There are several girls going from here. Be sure to come down to see me if you can't go at that time. With love, M. [sideways along the top left] Remember you owe me a card.
