Description

A black and white photograph of the Lauren Rogers' Library in Laurel, Mississippi is pictured on this postcard. Street lights and tres are spaced on the green space between the sidewalk and the street in front of the two story, brick library. Six sets of double columns are at the front porch. The title of the card is written in white in the lower right of the image. An inscription is written on the back of the card.

Picture of the beautiful entrance which is just back of the clumps of trees at the left of this picture. The entrance is a double iron gate through a back wall that forms a sunken French Garden with a little pathway leading upto the library door. A slight slope to the near partly filled in made this little garden entrance possible. A New Orleans architect designed the building I do not remember the name. [sic]
