Description
This color postcard features a nine story brown brick and concrete hotel with blue and white striped awnings on three of the first floor windows. Early twentieth century cars are parked in front of the hotel and people are depicted as walking the sidewalk in front. A smaller building is seen behind the hotel. The title along the top of the card reads "Forrest Hotel, Hattiesburg, Miss." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides creator and publisher information as well as indication for correspondence, address, and postage stamp placement. "1573-30" is handwritten in pencil in the upper right of the card.
